Itinerary

Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to Hotel for check in. then rest are at your leisure.

  • Overnight in Siem Reap

Breakfast is at hotel. We depart hotel at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed.

After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

Enjoy your free morning until the time driver pick you up and transfer you to airport for flight to Vientiane, Laos. Upon arrival our local guide and driver in Vientiane will transfer you to hotel for check in.

Vientiane, the charming capital city of Laos with rich heritage of Buddhist culture, is waiting for you to discover. You full day city tour will take you to visit the highlights of Vientiane. Your will firstly get to know some more history of Laos by visiting the temple Wat Sisaket which is the oldest surviving temple with thousands of Buddhist images. The temple Wat Prakeo which housing the famous Emerald Buddha image really amazed the Indochina tour makers. Your full day Vientiane city tour will also visit the symbolic site That Luang Stupa and Patuxay Monument.

In the afternoon Buddha Park and enjoy a stroll around the park. Also known as Xieng Khuan, this unusual park is filled with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues. The quiet and tranquil setting along the Mekong River is a contrast to the slightly eccentric sculptures which were built in 1958 by a Laos shaman. The concrete sculptures are unique and intriguing, sitting majestically in the peaceful park. After Buddha Park start driving back to Vientiane. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

After breakfast transfer to train station for on board to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival our tour guide and driver will escort you to hotel.

In the afternoon, Visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures before heading out of town to see the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. Later this afternoon return to the city for a visit to Wat Mai. Finally climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa and a sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. Finally visit the famous Night Market, where you’ll find handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe peoplesliving in the surroundings. In the evening, you can wander around the city and the night market to discover local life of Luang Prabang.
  • Overnight in Luang Prabang

This morning, embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River. Along the way, stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where Laos rice wine and rice whiskey is produced. You'll be able to try some and learn about the process used to make it. Then on to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves filled with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.

Lunch will be served near the caves. You'll have the opportunity to try a local dish called "Orlam" which is a soup with vegetables and features a spicy wood that is partially edible. On return, disembark to visit the traditional weaving village of Ban Phanom, famous for its hand woven textiles.
Continue to explore the beautiful Khouang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails.
  • Overnight in Luang Prabang

Your full day city tour begins after breakfast, with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum (closed on Tuesday), which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. See the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground and representing classical Laotian architecture. Visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.

After lunch go back to hotel for fresh up until transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, your private local guide from IndochinaTour.com will welcome you at the airport then escorts you to hotel.
  • Overnight in Chiang Mai

In the morning, you'll go to visit the most prominent temples in Chiang Mai. Start with Wat Phra Singh which houses the famous Phra Singh Buddha image. It features Lanna art throughout and illustrates many famous Buddhist stories.

Continue on to Wat Chedi Luang, which once contained the Emerald Buddha. The temple is partially in ruins due to an earthquake in the 1500s.
Then stop at Wat Chiang Man which is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai and also houses one of Thailand's greatest treasures: the Crystal Buddha(usually only able to be seen on Sundays and certain festival dates).
Then continue to Wat Suan Dok, which houses many of the remains of generations of the old Chiang Mai Royal Family. Finally, visit Wat Jet Yot – this peaceful temple is surrounded by green and was built in the Mahabodhi style from India to house the Eighth World Buddhist Council in 1453. Return to the hotel to relax around noon.
  • Overnight in Chiang Mai

After breakfast, visit the Temple Wat Doi Suthep where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Chiang Mai City. Keep driving to Chiang Mai, visit the Meow Hill Tribe Village where locates on the Mountain Doi Pui and it was once famous for opium cultivation. Continue visit the White Temple, is an unusual Thai temple designed by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, who mixes traditional Buddhist temple architecture with pop culture references.

  • Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Over 30 years ago, Wawee Tea Plantation was the first Thai tea plantation to grow oolong tea. Located on picturesque Doi Wawee, the plantation produces Taiwanese tea like Ching Ching no. 12 and no. 13 and also Assam tea and local tea. Apart from tracing the origin of Thai oolong tea, you can see the local life of Chin Haw people (Chinese who migrated from Yunnan to Thailand via Myanmar and Laos). Their village is on Doi Wawee and tea planting is their way of life. Even if tea isn’t your cup of tea, tea plantations are still wonderful places. Lush green tea plantations with mountains looming in the distance, locals calmly picking tea leaves, crisp cool air… It’s a picture of pure happiness. Thanks to its mountainous landscape and cooler climate, Northern Thailand is the ideal place for tea plants.

After Lunch and we will drive to visit Opium House at bent of the mighty Maekhong River and see the scenery view of three countries (Thailand, Myanmar and Laos).  Visit ancient city of Chiang Saen, where ruins of numerous, temples, stupas, Buddha images are still to be seen artifacts and archaeological finds exhibited at the National Museum.
After the tour transfer to airport for flight to Bangkok.

After breakfast, meet our tour guide at lobby, then transfer back to Bangkok city for the tour by private motor boat for a fascinating trip on The Chao Praya River & the Canal which extend into Thonburi, Bangkok’s sister city across the River. and temple along the water ways which give this city the name “Venice of the East” Pass various, and typical rural life as well as a visit to the Temple of Dawn.

After lunch, continue to visit Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. Built in 1782 - and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government - the Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people. Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.
Then ride like a local by Tuk Tuk to Reclining Buddha or Wat Pho (Wat Phra Chetuphon, the home of the most beautiful and famous Reclining Buddha, Wat pho is the center for the teaching and preservation of traditional Thai medicine and Thai massage. Also visit Wat Arun and the Royal Barge Museum.
